A meeting with the Gatekeeper
Mr. Victor Ferreira was certainly a fine gentleman who had been working for the school for quite some time. A very approachable assistant head teacher when introduced himself to us as he directed us to the Primary office on our first day. He gave us a detailed briefing of the system of the school, sorted us into pairs, handed us our assigned class timeable, a walk around the campus then finally, being escorted to our respected class.
Our last stop before being sent to our respected class was Sri Garden, an early childhood years segment located at the Ground Floor where toddlers are sent and developed for learning takes place. Mr. Ferreira was very friendly with the students there as it was very evident that they immediately rushed to greet him with giggles and cheers. There may be other factors such as the toddlers there were more courageous or they were very familiar with Mr. Ferreira thus explained the students' welcoming demeanour.
The pairs:
Beverly and Gurshreen - Year 1
Irdina and Xin Tian (me) - Year 6

| Year 6 O timeable |
In our previous placement, we were given students of younger years and it was reasonable for having older primary students for our current turn.
The timeable for Year 6 is similar to the one in Nexus or at least, in any other international schools. IPC is certainly a staple subject for any Primary International schools, this is the segment where it separates International Schools from local or private ones. The difference between Nexus and TISKL were the curricular activities placement: Nexus occurs after class, usually throughout the week whereas TISKL has the activities being executed within the school hours.
